Job summary

Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) in Riverdale, Maryland, is hiring a Case Manager. This full-time role involves direct youth engagement, individualized coaching, and coordinating services to help youths access resources and develop essential life skills.

The position includes four days on-site and one day of virtual work after a 60-day review. The program emphasizes PYD, academic and career development, and community engagement, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with inner-city adolescents and families, preferably in community-based settings.
• Experience working with out-of-school/at-risk youth preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth and manage caseload; conduct assessments and develop an IDP.
• Provide regular check-ins to identify barriers and set goals with youth.
• Coordinate with service providers and partners to ensure access to resources.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate case files; enter data in the ETO database.
• Collaborate across programs to support events and youth-focused activities.
• Participate in trainings and meet regularly with the Program Manager.
