Covenant House Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Youth Care Coordinator to lead case management and youth services for 18-22-year-olds in the safe haven as they transition to independence. The position is full-time and onsite, with a salary of $60,000 annually. Strong crisis intervention skills, documentation accuracy, and experience in trauma-informed care are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of leadership or team-support experience in case management or related field.
• Experience with youth services and trauma-informed practices is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and de-escalation skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide supervision and support to case managers and advisors.
• Coordinate daily/weekly case management activities with the team.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation for grant objectives and licensure.
• Maintain youth safety and apply nonviolent crisis intervention techniques.
• Lead on-site crisis shelter operations and RAOD duties as assigned.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and train staff for diverse learners.
• Build partnerships with community agencies to support youth needs.
• Drive agency vehicles to transport youth if needed.
