Job summary

Covenant House Florida is seeking a Youth Care Coordinator in Fort Lauderdale to lead, evaluate, and manage case management and youth services for ages 18-22 as they transition to independence. The role works with a team to enhance service quality and align activities with the organization’s mission.

The position supervises a team of intensive case managers, coordinates daily operations, supports crisis de‑escalation, ensures accurate records, and mentors staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership or team-support experience.
• Experience in case management or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to a team of intensive case managers and advisors.
• Manage case management operations and coordinate daily activities.
• Assist in crisis de-escalation and ensure safety.
• Oversee grant-funded programs and maintain client records.
• Ensure documentation meets licensing and funding requirements.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and coach staff for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with community agencies to deliver trauma-informed services.
• Drive agency vehicles to escort youth as needed.
