Job summary

Upbring is seeking a Youth Care Worker to provide direct care and supervision for Unaccompanied Children at our Katy, Texas location. The successful candidate will enable a safe and therapeutic environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and agency policies.

This position requires strong communication and conflict resolution skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work extended shifts including weekends. Perks include competitive PTO, health insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• One year of experience in the child welfare field.
• Ability to work extended shifts including 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to Unaccompanied Children.
• Conduct intake services and assist with basic needs.
• Supervise UC and perform behavior management.

Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Conflict resolution skills

Strong verbal communication

Ability to establish trust

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate's degree in social services (preferred)
