Job summary

Upbring, Luther an Social Services of the South, Inc. dba Upbring, is seeking a Youth Care Worker for 1st shift in Katy, TX.

The role provides direct care for Unaccompanied Children (UC), ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment and compliance with ORR licensing and agency policies. Responsibilities include intake, basic needs provision, supervision, and crisis intervention in alignment with behavior plans and ORR standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake for incoming UC, including paperwork and orientation.
• Provide basic needs: meals, clothing, hygiene, and daily routines.
• Supervise UC and enforce behavior plans in ORR standards.
• Perform crisis intervention and 1:1 monitoring as directed.
