Job summary

Unison Health in Ohio seeks compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Children’s QRTP. The role focuses on providing care, support, and encouragement in a safe, home-like setting for children and families.

We offer starting pay of $21.00–$23.00/hour, 12-hour shifts, and benefits including PTO, medical, dental/vision, and retirement planning with employer contributions. Training and trauma-informed practice are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability if driving is required.
• CPR and CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with youth.
• Assist with daily living skills, meals, hygiene, chores, and recreation.
• Lead and participate in structured activities and learning opportunities.
• Document progress, behaviors, and interactions.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a safe environment.
