Job summary

Unison Health is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Children’s QRTP. You will provide care, support, and encouragement in a safe, home-like environment, helping youths develop daily living skills and participate in therapeutic activities.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and teamwork within a mission-driven setting that serves Ohio families. Weekend differential applies to shifts, supporting our 12-hour day schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable if driving is required.
• CPR & CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with youth.
• Assist with daily living skills, meals, hygiene, chores, and recreation.
• Lead and participate in structured activities and learning opportunities.
• Document progress, behaviors, and interactions.
• Use trauma-informed approaches, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions when needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
