Job summary

The Richardson School in Cudahy, WI is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students with diverse needs. The role focuses on education, therapeutic/behavioral support, and hygiene assistance under supervision.

Qualifications

• Meets with classroom teacher and/or supervisor to discuss daily activities, academics, behavioral support, social and medical concerns.
• Completes and submits paperwork, instructional data, and behavior data in a timely fashion as scheduled per students assigned.
• Uses Agency-approved treatment techniques in supervising and educating students after training.
• Demonstrates familiarity with behavior management and behavior education techniques used at TRS.
• Acts as a role model and sets an appropriate example for students, staff, and the community.
• Demonstrates familiarity with the IEP by using resources to implement students' academic program under supervision.
• Engages students in active learning as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Provides support for all staff in the classroom setting and ensures Education Department policies are upheld.

Responsibilities
