Job summary

The Richardson School in Wisconsin is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their team in the Cudahy area. The role serves students with significant needs and behavioral concerns within a 180‑day calendar and ESY options.

You will develop IEP goals, create daily lessons, provide leadership to staff, and apply MyPath therapeutic models. Schedule is full time, 8‑4, M‑F, with a pay range of $54k–$71k and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Cross-Categorical SPED (1801) or related licenses.
• Experience with ASD, cognitive delays, EBD or mental health needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track IEP goals and collaborate on IEP completion.
• Develop daily lesson plans based on student needs.
• Establish a culture for learning through interactions.
• Provide leadership to staff supporting the classroom.
• Use proactive behavior management aligned with MyPath models.
• Plan and deliver high‑quality instruction based on IEPs.
• Incorporate new instructional models and assessments.
• Update progress reports per schedule.
