Job summary

YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a Before and After School Care Site Supervisor II to guide the Y BASE program during the school year and transition to camp programming in the summer. This year-round role supervises staff at sites with 51+ school-age students, plans developmentally appropriate activities, and ensures safety and quality of programming.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 240 hours of experience in an approved education setting.
• Must meet Wisconsin child care licensing requirements (DCF courses or higher education credits) or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, AED, Abusive Head Trauma, Mandated Reporter, and Wisconsin Registry certifications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and actively participate with school-age children.
• Act as on-site supervisor of YMCA staff, 4K Wrap, and camp programs as applicable.
• Lead day camp leadership in summer months when assigned.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and materials; ensure safety and cleanliness of spaces.
• Build relationships with families and school district staff to align programming with policies.
