Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Performs load-building, determining weight, composition, and placement of load based on order and vehicle capacity.
• Reads work orders or follows instructions to determine materials to be moved.
• Conveys materials to storage or designated area using hand truck, forklift or other device.
• Attaches tags or labels to materials for correct identification.
