Job summary

Hunt Electric is seeking a Material Handler in Hudson, WI to manage material flow across manufacturing and warehouse areas. You will receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, transporting with forklifts or pallet jacks, cycle counts, and inventory audits while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment. Strong teamwork and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as Material Handler or similar in manufacturing.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Safely load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Transport materials to storage areas, production lines, and loading docks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Store materials in designated locations and keep areas organized.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
