Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. in California is seeking a Yard Operations associate for the Turlock South location. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a 3pm–11:30pm shift and potential overtime, offering a $23–$25/hour range. Eligible for standard benefits after placement.

You will manage yard movement, trailer placement, checks, and coordination with shipping/receiving and welcome center teams, while upholding safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: Yard spotting truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly and lift up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Regular work in temperature-controlled environments and strict safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Move equipment throughout the lot and update the yard management system.
• Place trailers in and out of doors and ensure correct location in the yard system.
• Perform temperature and fuel checks on trailers.
• Maintain sanitation and yard safety, and report issues as needed.
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving and welcome center to locate trailers correctly.
• Ensure trailers are secured at end of shift and monitor gate security.
