Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL to move tractor trailers on company property, load docks, and parking areas. You will ensure safe, timely handling of trailers and maintain professional interactions with customers and co-workers on site.

Responsibilities include inspections, fueling, parking, and transporting trailers for maintenance. The role requires a valid non-commercial license, a current MVR, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• 6+ months driving experience required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
