Job summary

Cheney Brothers in Florida seeks a Yard Driver, Non-CDL to move tractor trailers on company property, load docks, and park trailers in designated areas in a safe, timely manner. You will interact with customers and co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and promptly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months driving experience, and a valid non-commercial license; DOT regulations and documentation are part of daily duties, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months driving experience required.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractors to offsite maintenance/inspection facilities; local city driving required.
• Secures trucks, trailers and equipment; completes required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
