Job summary

Performance Food Group in Burlington, VT is seeking a Yard Driver (Non-CDL) to move trailers on company property, load/unload at docks, and ensure on-time delivery to customers. You will interact professionally with customers and coworkers while complying with DOT rules and safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months driving experience, a valid non-commercial license, and the ability to pass drug testing and background checks. Prior warehouse exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• 6+ months driving experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license and clean MVR.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely per DOT regulations.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers at docks.
• Transports trailers to offsite maintenance facilities; local city driving.
• Secures trucks and completes required documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
