Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Customer Support Representative I to coordinate daily transportation, yard, and dock operations. You will manage trailer tracking, delivery appointments, and real-time yard visibility using the PINC/Kaleris Yard Management System, collaborating with carriers, drivers, dispatchers, and onsite teams to resolve delays and other logistics exceptions.

This entry-level role requires 1–3 years in logistics, a high school diploma, and familiarity with YMS and WMS tools.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, yard management, or dispatching.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with PINC/Kaleris YMS preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or other WMS platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and occasionally conduct outdoor yard checks in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Update trailer statuses, locations, and yard moves in the PINC/Kaleris YMS.
• Audit yard inventory and track loaded and empty trailers.
• Monitor trailer dwell times and coordinate hostler/shunter moves.
• Schedule inbound and outbound delivery appointments.
• Communicate delays, cancellations, detention risks, and missed appointments.
• Support gate-in/gate-out procedures and verify bills of lading.
• Assign dock doors and promote carrier safety compliance.
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, trailer turns, and yard dwell.
• Identify scheduling issues and support continuous improvement.
