Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Customer Support Representative I to coordinate daily transportation, yard, and dock operations in a hybrid office/warehouse setting. You'll work with carriers, drivers, dispatchers, and onsite dock teams to resolve delays and scheduling issues, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate yard visibility.

The role requires 1–3 years in transportation or logistics, a HS diploma (associate preferred), and experience with PINC/Kaleris YMS; familiarity with SAP or similar WMS

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, yard management, or dispatching.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with PINC/Kaleris YMS preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or other WMS platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and occasionally conduct outdoor yard checks in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Update trailer statuses, locations, and yard moves in the PINC/Kaleris YMS.
• Audit physical yard inventory and track loaded and empty trailers.
• Monitor trailer dwell times and coordinate hostler/shunter moves.
• Schedule inbound and outbound delivery appointments.
• Communicate delays, cancellations, detention risks, and missed appointments.
• Support gate-in/gate-out procedures and verify bills of lading.
• Assign dock doors and promote carrier compliance with safety procedures.
• Track KPIs, including on-time delivery, trailer turn times, and yard dwell.
• Identify scheduling issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
