Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Tracy, CA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to be the first point of contact for customers and deliveries, ensuring safe, timely daily operations in the yard.

You will manage drawings for transportation, print and file mill certificates, and tag jobs for production while keeping the yard schedule current. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with basic SAP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to take direction and complete tasks with minimum supervision.
• Good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• First point of contact in the yard - directs customers and deliveries.
• Ensure daily deliveries are done throughout the plant.
• Manage drawings from detailing to ensure they are given to transportation.
• Print and manage mill certificates.
• Print tags on jobs for daily production.
• Keep yards updated with schedule changes.
• Communicate inspection results in real time to the proper supervisor.
