Commercial Metals is seeking a front-line yard worker to perform daily trailer checks, load orders with overhead cranes, and operate in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will contribute to safety, efficiency, and timely shipments while upholding quality and teamwork.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, willingness to work rotating shifts, and adherence to safety protocols; candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily yard check for pre-loaded trailers and coordinating with carriers.
• Assemble and load orders onto trailers using overhead cranes.
• Work outside, lift heavy loads, and follow safety rules.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Communicate production issues and needs with team members.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and inspect equipment reports.
• Troubleshoot issues using knowledge and teamwork.
