Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join the team. The role focuses on precise positioning and parameter selection for imaging, maintaining inventory, and documenting procedures.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: Full-time | Days | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 0700-1900

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.


• Maintain inventory of supplies, clean linens, and other materials. Notify appropriate personnel to order/stock items as needed.


• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required by the department.


• Provide education and instruction to patients regarding their procedure.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
