Ascension Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This role performs high‑quality diagnostic imaging with careful patient positioning and tailored technical adjustments.

You will uphold ALARA safety, administer contrast, monitor patients, and ensure imaging data is correctly labeled and uploaded to PACS for fast access by clinicians. The ideal candidate holds required licensures (BLS within 1 month, CCI/ARRT/ARDMS credentials) and has

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire date.
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI, ARRT, or ARDMS.
• Radiologic Technologist certification required or pending.
• Associate/Technical degree or equivalent education preferred.

Your future role at a glance

• Location: Tulsa, OK
• Facility: Ascension St John Medical Center
• Department: Diagnostic X-ray
• Schedules Available:
• 4, 10 hour shifts within Monday - Friday. Work every 3rd weekend.
• Monday - Friday, 11:00pm - 7:00am. Work every 3rd weekend.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Produce high-fidelity diagnostic images through precise patient positioning and technical adjustments, ensuring physicians have the clarity needed to make fast, accurate medical decisions.
• Champion patient safety by strictly adhering to radiation protocols and "ALARA" principles, minimizing exposure while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
• Manage the patient experience during procedures by administering contrast media safely and monitoring well-being, ensuring every individual feels supported and cared for during their scan.
• Streamline the clinical workflow by accurately labeling and uploading imaging data to digital systems (PACS), allowing the broader care team to access critical results without delay.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
