Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a part-time radiology support role for evenings.

You will prepare contrast media, assist in maintaining a clean and safe department, transport patients to imaging, move patients between radiographic surfaces, and provide general comfort care under supervision. Minimum requirements include BLS certification within 1 month of hire and a high school diploma or equivalent (or enrollment in an accredited program).

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• High school diploma or equivalent or enrollment in accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contrast media and medications as directed by a supervising technologist.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.
• Transport patients to and from medical imaging.
• Assist in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Assist patients with general comfort care.
