Job summary

Ascension's St. Vincent Anderson Hospital in Anderson, IN, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Diagnostic Radiology. This PRN role involves patient positioning and selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters to perform imaging procedures.

You will maintain supplies, logs, and patient education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. Required credentials include BLS within 1 month and ARRT Radiography certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, clean linens, and other materials. Notify appropriate personnel to order/stock items as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required by the department.
• Provide education and instruction to patients regarding their procedure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
