Ascension in Austin, TX is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and assist physicians in accurate patient diagnosis. You will position patients, select exposure factors for optimal image quality, and follow strict radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities include administering contrast media within scope, coordinating with the clinical team, and ensuring prompt submission of digital images to PACS while documenting patient history in the EHR.

• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document clinical history within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Perform regular equipment quality control and ensure prompt submission of all digital images to PACS for streamlined clinical workflows.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiology Technician obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
