Job summary

All Claims Repairs, LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Columbus, Ohio team. This in-person, full-time role focuses on residential and commercial construction estimating, with emphasis on accurate cost estimates using Xactimate and strong attention to detail.

You will coordinate with project managers, review blueprints, include materials, labor, and equipment, and communicate with vendors and homeowners to resolve disputes while ensuring bids meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial scopes and prepare precise estimates for construction projects using Xactimate, including materials, labor, and equipment; update estimates with change orders and customer requests.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits; collaborate with Project and Operations Managers to set milestones and expectations; interpret and communicate repair methods to field staff.
• Contact vendors to obtain competitive pricing; work with homeowners, insurance adjusters, agents, and building officials to clarify scopes and resolve disputes.
• Ensure all estimates adhere to company policies and industry standards; prepare and submit bids and proposals in a timely manner.

Job Summary

All Claims Repairs is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial construction estimating, with proficiency in Xactimate and a keen eye for detail. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Detailed Cost Estimates:
  • Develop initial scopes and prepare precise estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment using Xactimate.
  • Update estimates based on change orders and customer requests.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.

• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Xactimate and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in DASH & Mitigate
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications:
  • Xactimate certification preferred but not required.
  • IICRC industry standard certifications
• Requirements:
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Working Conditions

• Environment:
  • Office-based with travel to job sites as required.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions during site visits.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Occasional bending, lifting, and standing during site inspections
