Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR is seeking a Write/Run Construction Estimator to generate precise Xactimate estimates and oversee projects from estimation through completion. You’ll inspect sites, document conditions, coordinate with insurance adjusters and clients, and manage timelines and budgets to keep work on track.

The ideal candidate has Xactimate estimating experience, 3+ years in construction project management, and 2+ years in restoration, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to

• Xactimate estimating experience.
• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• 2+ years of restoration industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and damage restoration processes.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams of subcontractors and completing projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied environments.

• Manage the jobs you estimate, ensuring efficiency and quality restoration.
• Document clear job site photos and project reports.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scheduling of subcontractors.
• Review and submit change orders, supplements, and final invoicing details.
• Provide excellent customer service and guide homeowners and business owners through the repair process.
• Ensure permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are met.

What You’ll Do

As a Write/Run Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate Xactimate estimates and overseeing projects from estimation to completion. Your responsibilities include:
