Restoration Company serving the Phoenix area is seeking a Construction Repair / Mitigation Estimator in Tempe, AZ. The role requires 3+ years of Xactimate experience and involves on-site and virtual site assessments, detailed estimates, and bid preparation.

You will coordinate with adjusters, clients, and program managers, provide weekly status updates, and participate in ongoing training. This position includes an on-call rotation for emergencies and a company vehicle and tools.

• 3+ years of Xactimate experience for estimating repairs.

Responsibilities

• Site assessment: perform virtual and on-site inspections to document conditions and damages.
• Prepare estimates including parameters, sketches, written reports, and uploading to adjusters and clients.
• Gather sub-contractor bids and provide to carriers or project managers for complex items.
• Communicate status updates to adjusters and programs weekly; log updates in the system.

Job Description Local established Restoration contractor is looking for a Construction Repair / Mitigation Estimator to join our team! Must have 3+ years of Xactimate experience. As a Repair Estimator, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Site Assessment: Virtual inspections, and on-site inspection. Assess the extent of damages, review and document photographs of the existing conditions to prepare accurate estimates.
2. Prepare Estimates: Responsibilities include, preparing the parameters, sketch, writing, review, and uploading all estimates to adjusters, clients, and programs. Prepare accurate estimates.
3. Bid Preparation: Gather sub-contractor bids as needed from project managers, or yourself on complex items. Prepare and provide to carriers.
4. Communication: Update adjusters, programs claim on current job statuses weekly. Note our system database with updates, notify project managers of estimate or supplement status. Notify Insureds of estimate review and approvals.
5. Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and advancements. Provide feedback to the company on ways to improve the estimation process and overall efficiency.
6. On-call staff rotation per week – After hours phone calls and appointment meetings in emergency losses and program claims. Gather work authorization, note damages, with photo documentation, inform client of next steps and manage crews to be on-site.
