This position is for Martha's Vineyard Hospital and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Job Summary

Purpose of Your Job Description: The primary purpose of your role is to perform all patient exams with the highest skill level, fully utilizing radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and protocols to produce images with diagnostic quality. You will respond promptly to service requests.

Performance Requirements / Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic fixed and mobile equipment
• Produce expected volume of exams efficiently
• Maintain a repeat rate of 6% or below
• Follow radiation safety procedures for patients and staff
• Ensure patient and staff safety and comfort
• Keep all areas clean and supplies stocked
• Provide courteous and professional patient and visitor services
• Utilize hospital information systems for patient care
• Check PACs images after exams, print films/CDs as requested
• Follow sterile procedures in the OR
• Participate actively in reception, film library, and transport
• Maintain continuing education credits to improve skills
• Provide age-appropriate care for patients across various age groups
• Assess patients' behavior, motor skills, and physiological norms
• Recognize psychological and physical needs, develop discharge plans, and evaluate support systems
• Identify signs of abuse/neglect and refer appropriately

• ARRT registration in radiology
• CPR/BLS certification

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist
• Experience with fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures
