Job Summary

Purpose of Your Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to perform all patient exams with high skill, utilizing radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images. You will respond promptly to service requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including C-Arm and portable x-ray units.
• Understand and utilize EPIC and PACS systems; change incorrect exams; communicate with teleradiology.
• Perform IV starts and MRI scans; adhere to radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; provide courteous patient care.
• Follow sterile procedures in the OR; participate in reception, film library, and transport functions.
• Complete required continuing education; evaluate patients for age-appropriate behaviors and needs; recognize signs of abuse or neglect.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and one year of clinical CT training.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice in the state.
• Registered and certified by the ARRT in radiology and CT.
