Job summary

CityMD is hiring an X-ray Technologist to produce high quality radiographs in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will follow X-ray protocols and Department of Health requirements while maintaining accurate records and communicating with Providers and Radiologists.

The role requires graduation from an accredited X-ray program, 4–6 months of experience preferred, strong communication, and flexibility to work weekends. BLS certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
• Preferably 4–6 months previous experience in the field.
• Strong communication skills to guide patients through procedures.
• Ability to perform basic X-rays and position patients for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot or ankle.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality radiographs following CityMD X-ray protocols.
• Document studies and communicate with Providers and Radiologists using internal systems.
• Maintain QC logs and pregnancy consent forms to stay compliant with Department of Health.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist with patient flow and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.
