Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic/CT Technologist to prepare patients for radiology and CT procedures and to deliver high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. You will ensure accurate orders, patient history, and timely results while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The role requires ARRT registration or equivalent CT training, a state license where needed, CPR certification, and a commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology with documented CT training or completion of cross-training program within one year of hire.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology and CT exams by confirming orders and verifying identity.
• Perform radiology and CT procedures for all patient ages with clinical competency.
• Maintain safety practices and radiation protection for patients and staff.
• Assist in transporting patients when required and ensure smooth department operations.
• Records and documents patient data for accurate billing and reporting.
• Supervise and teach students in the Radiologic Technology program.
