Job summary

CityMD is seeking a X-ray & Medical Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic studies and timely documentation in the EMR. You will work under physician supervision, ensuring patient safety and image accuracy across chest, extremities and other areas.

The role requires graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program, 4–6 months of prior X-ray experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
• 4–6 months experience as a X-ray Technologist.
• Explain, process, and position patient for X-ray; adjust exposure factors and use shielding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray studies (chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, ankle) under physician supervision.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR and QA log.
• Assist with procedures and CLIA-waived tests as trained.
• Coordinate imaging orders with providers, Aftercare, and radiologists reading results.
• Maintain equipment, stock, and supplies; support training of new hires.
