Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an X-ray Technologist to produce high-quality radiographs following protocols and Health Department compliance. You will document studies, support patient flow, and collaborate with radiologists and providers to ensure accurate results.

The role requires graduation from an accredited X-ray program, 4–6 months of experience preferred, and a valid BLS certification. The position emphasizes patient safety, proper shielding practices, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
• Preferably 4-6 months previous experience in the field.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions to patients.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform common X-ray studies (chest, extremities, spine, abdomen) within target times.
• Document studies and coordinate with Provider and Radiologist using internal X-ray and care coordination software.
• Maintain QC logs and patient records in accordance with Department of Health requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and inform Site Manager when service is needed.
• Assist with patient flow and vital signs; document results in the EMR.
• Maintain cleanliness of the site and equipment; support a safe patient environment.
• Assist with CLIA waived tests, EKGs, splints, sling placement, and proper use of crutches.
