Job summary

Fast Pace Urgent Care is seeking an X-Ray Tech to provide clinical and administrative support under supervision. You will assist with imaging, patient care, and maintain a compassionate, welcoming atmosphere while responding quickly to changes in patient condition.

The role requires ARRT and state licenses, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to handle high-volume imaging in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Growth and mentorship are emphasized in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT license active and verifiable with regulatory agency.
• State license active where applicable.
• TB and IV certification obtained within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist as per job description.
• Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team, adhering to company policies.
• Monitor and track x-ray orders for timely submission.
• Assist patient with positioning to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Review exam images for provider initial read.
• Send final images to Radiology group for over-read.
• Label laterality correctly using lead markers.
• Address minor maintenance issues with x-ray machines and coordinate with clinic director.
• Monitor and maintain x-ray room equipment and clean after use to prevent cross-contamination.
• Welcome and onboard new employees; facilitate team introductions and clinic tours.
• Support training through shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.

Education

ARRT License (Registered Technologist)

State License (Registered Technologists’ and Limited Scope)

TB and IV Certification within 60 days of employment
