Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a radiology technologist to perform chest, extremity, spine, and abdominal X-rays with accurate documentation and effective communication with providers and radiologists.

The role includes patient positioning, quality image capture, ALARA exposure control, EMR entry, and assisting with CLIA waived tests. Requirements: accredited X-ray tech program, 4–6 months experience preferred, strong communication, weekend availability, BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Strong communication to instruct patients and coordinate with staff.
• Ability to use various computer systems and EMR for entry.
• Flexibility with a full-time schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform chest X-ray, extremity X-ray, spinal X-ray, and abdominal X-ray per orders.
• Document studies accurately and communicate with Provider and Radiologist.
• Maintain QC logs and ensure compliance with Department of Health requirements.
• Assist with basic CLIA waived tests, EKGs, and ensure site cleanliness.
