CareNow urgent care is seeking an X-Ray Technician - LMRT to perform radiology procedures and lab-related tasks for timely patient care. You will work with clinic staff to ensure quality service and patient satisfaction while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications include Texas LMRT license, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Sciences program, and BLS within 30 days. Related certifications for breath alcohol and drug screening are required within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Sciences.
• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiology Technician license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Responsabilités

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Be cross trained for front desk duties including greeting patients, checking in/out, End of Day close out, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• May be required to work alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations; coordinate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
