Job summary

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) in Texas to provide high-quality radiology services and support clinic operations. The role includes cross-training for front desk duties, ensuring safety, and contributing to patient care across shifts and locations.

Ideal candidates will have LMRT in Texas, accreditation in Radiologic Sciences, and strong customer service skills, with eligibility to obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license in Texas.
• 1+ year clinical experience beneficial.
• Ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of start.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct in-house lab tests including drug screens and urinalysis.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house lab work and x-rays.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
• Cross-train for front desk duties and patient check-in/out.
• May work alternate shifts or float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
