Job summary

CareNow urgent care in Austin, TX, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-ray Tech with NCT/LMRT/GMRT license to join our clinical team. You will perform imaging studies, document in the EHR, and support patient flow during check-in/out.

Requires 1+ year clinical experience, state licensure (GMRT/LMRT/NCT), and BLS within 30 days. AAMA certification preferred. We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care setting
• Experience using an EHR system
• GMRT/LMRT/NCT license in resident state
• AAMA certification preferred
• BLS certification within 30 days of start
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening certification within 3 months
• Federal Drug Screening certification within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections
• Perform imaging services per provider orders and update charts
• Collect patient history and document in EHR
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed
• Assist with check-in/check-out and chart audits
• Maintain records for in-house and sent-out lab work and drug screens
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress
