Job summary

CareNow urgent care is seeking a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) to provide expert radiology services and patient care within a collaborative team. You will perform radiology procedures, run in-house tests, and maintain meticulous records while supporting clinic operations.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited Radiological Sciences program, LMRT license in Texas, and the ability to obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical patient-care experience beneficial.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 30 days.
• Office Laboratory Assistant license if required by state.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• You may be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
