Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) in Texas to join our clinical team. You will provide radiology services and support in-house lab duties, while maintaining patient-centered care and accurate documentation.

The role may require shift variation and occasional cross-training for front desk tasks. The ideal candidate holds an LMRT license in Texas, graduates from an accredited Radiological Sciences program, and has or can obtain BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical experience is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Office Laboratory Assistant license if required by state.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong communication skills.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests.
• Maintain records and logs of in-house lab work and x-ray submissions.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
• Follow occupational preference cards and procedures.
• Cross-train for front desk duties including patient check-in/out and records release.
• May work alternate shifts or float to other locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
