Job summary

CareNow, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Limited Practice Radiographer/Medical Assistant to deliver compassionate patient care in our urgent care setting. You will handle essential radiology procedures, vital signs, and EHR documentation while supporting a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires an RT/LPR/LRMR license in your state, 1+ year clinical experience, and completed MA training with BLS and screen certifications within the stated timelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or approved BOTP is required.
• Radio/RT license (RT or LPR/LMRT) required in state of residency.
• Current BLS certification is required within 30 days of start.
• AAMA certification preferred, Breath Alcohol/Drug screening certifications required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and IM injections.
• Perform radiology/imaging services per provider orders and update charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain radiology, in-house lab and related records/logs; inform patients of progress.
