Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Limited Practice Radiographer/Medical Assistant to provide high‑quality patient care. The role supports radiology services, EHR documentation, and front-desk tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has clinical experience, an appropriate MA program credential, and an RT/LMRT license in the state of residency. AAMA certification is preferred, with required BLS and certifications within set timelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical patient care experience.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistants program (BOTP).
• RT or LMRT license is required in state of residency.
• AAMA certification preferred.
• BL S certification required within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol and Federal Drug Screening certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain radiology, in-house lab, and external lab records.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant program graduate

1+ year clinical experience

EHR experience

BLS certification

Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification

Federal Drug Screening Certification

AAMA certification (preferred)
