CareNow in Denton, TX seeks an X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant to support imaging services and patient care. You will take vital signs, perform IM injections, and document in the EHR, ensuring accurate charts and timely communication with providers.

Requirements include 1+ year in patient care, EHR experience, a Medical Assistant credential or approved program, and BLS certification within 30 days. A sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Formación

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or approved BOTP program is required.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform X-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and external lab work.
