CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an X-ray Tech - Medical Assistant in Austin, TX. You will perform imaging per provider orders, collect patient history, take vital signs, and update the EHR.

The role includes potential splinting, assisting with check-in/out, and maintaining accurate records. The position emphasizes patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic, with sign-on bonus up to $1,000 and incentives.

Formación

• 1+ year of clinical patient care experience is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) is required.
• GMRT/LMRT/NCT license is required in state residency.
• AAMA certification is preferred.
• BLS certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening certifications within 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Perform imaging services per provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Take vital signs, collect specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain in-house labs, drug screens, and sendouts, with logs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
