Job summary

HCA Healthcare's CareNow urgent care in Virginia is seeking a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) to deliver timely X-ray procedures and support patient care. You will perform radiology exams, run in-house lab tests, and help with front-desk duties to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license recognized for the role (Texas license referenced in posting).
• 1+ year of clinical experience is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Works closely with clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Cross-trained for front desk duties including greeting patients and checking in/out on computer.
• May work alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
