Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Tullahoma, TN is seeking experienced ARRT radiology techs or limited license X-ray techs to join our team.

Responsibilities include performing x-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and supporting Medical Assistant duties; schedule is full-time rotating 36-40 hour weeks with occasional weekends; benefits include medical, dental, and vision options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the waiting area, exam room, or radiology room.
• Communicate wait times and direct patients to the next step in the treatment process.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure quality control for accurate exams.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and maintain radiation safety and shielding procedures.
• Maintain licensure and certification for radiology equipment and staff.
