Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in East Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technician for a part-time role. The position includes x-ray testing, patient positioning, equipment operation, film development, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties.

The candidate should have a TN X-Ray license, BLS, and ARRT certification preferred, with prior Medical Assistant experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guidance to next steps in treatment.
• Assist with patient transfers and with procedures under provider supervision.
• Document vital signs, history, medications, allergies and other pertinent information.
• Perform radiology procedures and quality control to ensure good exams.
