Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in East Nashville, TN seeks experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join the team. The role involves performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, and supporting Medical Assistant duties.

Full-time schedule includes rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour weekday shifts and some weekends. TN licensure and BLS are required; ARRT certification is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Record vital signs, history, medications, allergies and other history accurately.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure image quality and safety protocols.
