Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly in waiting areas and exam rooms.
• Communicates wait times and guides patients through treatment steps.
• Provides solutions to patient problems and recognizes emergencies.
• Performs follow-up calls with urgency and assists front desk as needed.
• Records vital signs, history, medications, allergies and other data.
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Follows documentation procedures for patient visits.
• Performs radiology procedures and ensures quality control.
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and ensures radiation safety.
• Ensures equipment is functional and reports malfunctions.
• Maintains diagnostic imaging knowledge and licensure.
